Standing at 1,930 metres, Mullayanagiri is the crown jewel of the Western Ghats and the highest peak in Karnataka. The trek to the summit rewards you with sweeping 360° views of rolling hills, coffee estates, and on clear days, a glimpse of the Arabian Sea. The trail winds through shola forests and grasslands, making it a paradise for nature lovers and photographers alike.

Hebbe Falls is a breathtaking two-tiered waterfall nestled deep within the Bhadra Wildlife Sanctuary. The falls cascade 168 metres through dense coffee and cardamom estates, creating a misty spectacle surrounded by lush greenery. The jeep ride and short trek through the sanctuary to reach the falls is an adventure in itself, with chances to spot wildlife along the way.

Spread across 492 sq km of the Western Ghats, Bhadra Wildlife Sanctuary is a Project Tiger Reserve and one of Karnataka's most biodiverse ecosystems. Home to tigers, leopards, elephants, gaur, and over 250 species of birds, a guided safari here is an unforgettable experience. The Bhadra reservoir within the sanctuary adds to the scenic beauty.

Z Point is one of Chikmagaluru's most popular viewpoints, offering sweeping panoramic views of the surrounding valleys and hills. Named for the Z-shaped road leading to it, this spot is especially magical at sunset when the sky turns shades of orange and gold over the misty Western Ghats. A short, easy walk from the parking area makes it accessible for all ages.

Often called the "Kashmir of Karnataka", Kemmangundi is a serene hill station at 1,434 metres, known for its manicured rose gardens, misty valleys, and the spectacular Hebbe and Kalhatty waterfalls nearby. The 12th-century Hoysala temples at Belur and Halebidu are among India's greatest architectural treasures and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
